We started getting water intrusion in our home in January of 2025. We had several companies out to see if we could figure out what is allowing the water to enter our home after carefully assessing different options. We ended up going with GUL. Marcus and Eric came out and inspected our foundation he asked permission to pull the baseboard off the bottom of the Drywall and pulled the carpet back he was able to find several cracks and you could see dampness on the floor, he was the only one that did an inspection to better understand what was happening. My husband and I called GUL about water entering our home by one of our bedrooms, Ashley came out and explain thoroughly how the water was entering our home and we contracted with GUL and her a deposit. Eric called about seven days later and put us on the schedule. The owner, Marcus actually came out to help the crew dig the foundation and sealed it then they went above and beyond and fixed some stucco cracks that we had. We had piers installed to prevent our foundation from sinking further and waterproofing done to prevent water from getting into our home. They had the best price out of three quotes we got. Marcus and crew were always on time and they did good work.

In today’s world it is very rare to find a trustworthy and dependable contractor. And this company went above and beyond all of our expectations and needs. I honestly cannot say enough about how great the entire process was. We were referred by our neighbors, and decided to call him and ask for a quote and see what they could do for us. From the first phone call we knew we found someone we felt comfortable with. When they came out to inspect the property and give us an estimate we were educated on everything. It was the first time in Florida that a sales pitch didn’t feel like we were being taken advantage of. We were comfortable with every step. Also, most contractors aren’t the greatest communicators, and this wasn’t our experience with them. Any time we had a question, it was answered in a timely matter and they didn’t make us feel stupid for asking. They also showed up when they told us they would, they didn’t make us wait around all day like most do. As you can tell we are more than happy. It’s nice to actually see a company take pride in their work and stand behind it.

We had a couple of leaks in our house which were coming through our floor. We reached out to Marcus and his team, they were so friendly, professional, and quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue. Marcus and the team are real class acts. It’s rare these days to find people who provide a service, charge a fair price for their service, and don’t try to tack on different “nice-to-haves”. Marcus came out to our home and my wife and I explained what was going on and we weren’t sure what we needed or how to go about it. He walked us through what he would recommend and then drew up the paperwork. It has been a long time since I have used a service where when I saw the price I didn’t second guess if we were being taken advantage of. Marcus and his team are amazing. They came out and replaced the old damaged gutters that were doing more harm than good. They replaced the fascia too! The whole job took less than a day. They were courteous and very professional. Would 1000% recommend them!

I called Groundup Leveling for water seepage into bedroom. I had already had waterproofing from another company that obviously didn't do the job correctly 2 years prior...and warranty had expired. Marcus was quick to respond and took extra time to give me suggestions to prevent issue from happening again. Team was pleasant and efficient. I now have gutters as well as an improved drainage system. They also sealed area where seepage was. Reasonably priced and a good warranty to boot. I would highly recommend them!!

Marcus did a great job at my place, helping trench and seal my garage where water was leaking through the walls into the garage. Pics of before and after. He also went above and beyond, caulking several stucco cracks he found on the exterior walls and that eventually become an issue.

Marcus put in a new very complex channel drain in our pool area replacing an old channel drain as well as a thoughtful replanned drainage from the channel drains. Marcus and his crew did a great job.They always on time, very positive and happy to answer many questions, and did a thorough walk thru when the job was finished Their clean up was terrific!
